Patagonia Explorer - Erin Finnerty
Getting the chance to go to Chile and Argentina as part of the tour was great. Seeing some village life in small towns in Chile was interesting too and a good mix to the national parks that we visited. Daniel the tour guide had a lot of local knowledge which made travelling long distances more interesting.

I went around the big cities of Europe with Kumuka and had the best time. The optional and included excursions were great! It was well organised and I liked that I could do my own thing whenever I felt like it.

I would like to specifically comment on the considerable contribution our Vietnamese tour leader Loc made to the success of the tour. His obvious commitment to his work always executed with knowledge,understanding, humour, patience,enthusiasm and the anticipatition of people's needs really made the diverse group gel and made for a most enjoyable and memorable trip. He is a true gem.
I appreciated the variety of visiting historical sites, enjoying cultural experiences, observing everyday life and traveling through different landscapes.
I could not have arranged or made such an extensive journey on my own with the time I had avaialble to me (it would have been a logistical nightmare making all the bookings for transport and accomodation).

Gorillas and Game - Amanda Henderson
It's been three weeks since I arrived back from my Gorilla and Game safari in Kenya and Uganda. I could not put into words the experience I had it was totally amazing. The gorilla trekking was hard work but I feel very privileged to have seen our closest cousins in the animal world. From the game drives where we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, antelopes etc to the Nile and Lake Bunyoni where there was beautiful sunsets (and good beer) to the Masai Mara where we saw traditional warriors to the town ships with friendly children and hawkers, I have only one complaint, 18 days is not long enough!!! My fellow passengers (who were a wonderful mix of nationalities and personalities) and I were very lucky to have an awesome crew of Lawrence, Rene and Justin (not forgetting Scooby the truck) - they not only were well organised and a wealth of infomation but also fun. Even though I went on this trip with the idea of seeing all the wildlife and experiencing Africa it would have not been as successful without the crew (I hope they're paid accordingly for all their hard work). I'm already planning my next safari, a longer one for next year and of course Kumuka will be my first choice operator.
