Everything was great. TK and Juda were very responsible drivers, very good mechanics and very professional, kind, polite and attentive, keeping always the smile on their faces, even though they had problems on the road or with the truck. The tour leaders were amazing. Shumba is very kind, respectful and fun, always trying to please the clients and to make things smooth. Violet is very organized and professional and knows exactly how to deal with different people (from different countries and cultures). She is very loving and caring, solving all the problems as fast as she could. Two thumbs up for both crews. An extraordinary experience!
We have travelled through South America with our own jeep, which became a big of a hassle, having to deal with police corruption and documents for the vehicle (insurance, importation, etc.).
It was the safest and cheapest trip we have ever been. Incredible cost/benefit.
Local people (specially in Malawi): to have the chance of knowing local people and being with then was the major highlight of the tour. Okavango Delta was also great (despite many people complained that they did not see many animals). In my opinion, during the game walk is the time to enjoy footprints and animals' drops, instead of spotting animals and riding the mokoros. Ngorogoro crater was also amazing. It was the safest and cheapest trip we have ever been aournd the world. Incredible cost/benefit. As we had 2 different crews, we need to ackowledge both teams. Drivers TK and Juda were great as well as tour leaders Shumba and Violet were amazing. It is more than just a trip: it is a team work where everybody has responsabilities. You make friends forever. It is really a lifetime experience.
