Susan O'rourke says:
What a fantastic memorable holiday. I cannot praise our guide and porters enough. It was very organised and different to other tour groups in how the days hikes, duration, length each day had been organised which meant we had the best campsites, reached them at appropriate times and had the trail to ourselves the majority of the time.  We were both at least 25yrs older, and slower than our other tour members but we never felt pressured and were always well supported by them all which made the experience more rewarding. Whilst the hike was hard in many places the encouragement we received and the support given by our porters at dawn, lunch and evening made it all the more enjoyable. I certainly cannot fault anything. Andi was such a knowledgable, easygoing and supportive guide. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always smiling and chatty. What else can I say FANTASTIC!!!!

No one knew it was my birthday until my husband let it slip on our last evening meal together. To our surprise our guide told the chef and he rustled up a birthday cake within an hour, on a mountain in the middle of nowhere!!! That and a beer after 3 hard days of hiking - what more can a girl ask for. Thanks.
All of it! Making it to Dead Woman's Pass, the Incan ruins and the history, waking up at dawn on day 3 to watch the sunrise over the snow capped mountains, walking along the ridges - the beauty, the stillness and the overwhelming sense of achievement of completing the trail. It brings tears to my eyes - awwww!
