Introduction: This short tour gives you two opportunities to track the rare mountain gorillas found in this region. The Volcanoes National Park is situated in northwestern Rwanda, and protects the slopes of the Virungas Mountains, towering old volcanoes shrouded in rich, green rainforest and bamboo forest. This area is one of the havens of the mountain gorillas. The treks are exhilarating, the trails taking you into the rainforest with the sounds of birds and monkeys all around. You may get glimpses of the stunning peaks through gaps in the rainforest canopy. But the ultimate goal is to locate one of the gorilla families each day, and spend time observing them in their natural habitat. It is an experience you will never forget.

The single supplement is payable immediately and taken in your local currency, but will be refunded if we are able to pair you with another passenger at a later date.
