Introduction: This week long trip gives you the chance to experience the National Parks of Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara as well as Lake Nakuru, set against the stunningly beautiful Great Rift Valley. Leaving the bustling capital of Nairobi, we head north to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to millions of flamingos, often giving rise to a sea of pink, and also renowned for leopards as well as black and white rhino. Nest stop is Lake Naivasha with options to take a walking safari in Hells Gate National Park, or explore Crescent Island and Elsamere. Then it is on to the acacia studded Masai Mara Game Reserve, home to the "Big Five" and the greatest concentration and diversity of wildlife in Kenya. It is named after the Masai people, the traditional inhabitants of the area, and the Mara River, and is particularly famous for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra from the adjoining Serengeti National Park.
