Introduction: Take in some of the highlights of the beautiful and fascinating Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal, whilst staying in comfort in luxury hotels and lodges. From Kathmandu we visit Swayambhunath, one of the oldest and most enchanting of the Buddhist stupas in the western Kathmandu Valley. We explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bhaktapur, the ancient medieval capital of Nepal during the Malla Kingdom, and then visit the World Heritage Site of Boudhanath Stupa. Chitwan National Park is famous for its population of single-horned Asian rhino, and we travel by elephant back in search of these magnificent animals as well as the elusive Bengal Tiger. The scenic lakeside town of Pokhara is the gateway to the spectacular Himalayan Annapurna mountains, and its skyline is dominated by the beautiful Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) Mountain. Enjoy the views of the spectacular mountains as well as some of the sights of Pokhara, before flying back to end the tour in Kathmandu.
