Introduction:
A fascinating introduction to some of the most significant highlights of the
Middle East. This tour has you wandering through the bazaars of Damascus in
search of hidden courtyards and bustling market places, trading with the best
in Aleppo and appreciating the Roman influence in Palmyra. Whilst in Jordan
enjoy a float in the Dead Sea, count the stars in the desert skies over Wadi
Rum, and be awed by the grand entrance of Petra. In Egypt, climb Mount Sinai
in time for a very memorable sunrise, snorkel Red Sea reefs and experience the
mayhem that is Cairo, Africa's largest city. All this in just two weeks!
Due to Foreign office advice advising 'against
all but essential travel' to Lebanon we are unable to offer the optional day
trip to Beirut, Lebanon on this tour. We will continue to monitor the situation
and advise all passengers of any changes to the advice.
