We did the African Drums trip this July/August and had a great time. The staff members, Martin, Joseph and Hezron were excellent. Food was great. The places visited on the tour were spot on. Be prepared for long journeys, some days without showers and a fast paced tour. Overall, Kenya and Tanzania are well worth a visit and this tour takes in some good aspects of widlife, local living, beaches and country-side. Camping in the National Parks/Reserves is an experience in itself, as Buffalo and other wild animals graze right beside the tents at night. In the Masai Mara the local warriors in full Masai dress keep guard over the campsite during the night with spears and machetes. You're really out in the wilds. Made some great friends on the tour from all different walks of life and ages. We saw all of the the BIG 9! Including the Leopard! Would definitely recommend this trip to people who don't mind long journeys and want to see East Africa from the safety of an organised tour. Trish & Dec
