The Hill Tribe and River Ride tour was over the top fantastic. Every day was an adventure and every day we thought it couldn't get better, but it did. All types of transportation, tuks tuks, open trucks, bicycles, riding elephants down a river, two day barge trip on the Meekong River, train, to air conditioned vans. The accomodations went from sleeping on a floor in one room with all our tour mates in a hill tribe village to an overnight sleeper train to staying in a five star hotel on the Meekong River to staying in a quaint guesthouse. We never knew what the next night or day would bring. The jungle trek was probably the highlight in that it brought us to a part of Thailand and culture that the average tourist would not see or experience. The tour guide in Thailand, Pock, was absolutely the best guide we could have had. Thoughtful, knowledgable, very proud of the Thailand culture and very funny. The Thai and Laos people are so gentle and this trip was by far the best my husband and I have done in the 30 years of travel we have done. We can't stop telling our family and friends about how fabulous this was. So kudos Kumuka. Pat and Gayle
