Heidi Zerk says:
The ANZAC tour was a value for money once in a lifetime experinece. The tour guide was very knowledgeable & helpful when dealing with the local people & while visiting historic sites. Highly Recomended.
Introduction:
25th April, the date that Australians and New Zealanders mark as their annual Remembrance Day of the battle at Gallipoli, is a time to remember and pay tribute to the heroes of the battle. Starting in Istanbul we take a tour of what used to be the ancient city of Constantinople. We move on to Gallipoili where we explore the memorial sites, battlefield, museum, and Anzac Peninsular followed by the memorial. The Anzac service is held at dawn, traditionally the favoured time for attack among soldiers. We then move on to the legendary city of Troy, the ancient city of Ephesus and the amazing ‘cotton castles’ of Pamukale before returning to Istanbul.
